Don't worry we don't have a long list of rules here just a few things that you should be doing anyway...

- Respect other members. No arguments / insulting posts please.

- Respect artists. Please don't go out of your way to blatantly reveal a commercial effect. Feel free to discuss your ideas on how something could be done but even when doing this don't be too specific. (i.e. No Tutorials)

- NO PIRACY. This is a no brainer really but please do not post links to pirated material here.

- Post Sensibly. We want a quality forum so please do not clutter it with unhelpful posts. Please also try to post in the correct section, don't worry, we aren't going to ban you if you don't.

- Many forums have an "INTRODUCTION" thread as a sticky. Please read this before posting in that section as it may contain important information.

As you push the card through the deck, the back design visually changes.

From FISM winner Mathieu Bich comes an astoundingly visual change. You take a card from the deck and show the front and the back. You slowly place it in the center of the deck and begin to push it through. As the card penetrates the other end, it changes into another back design. The card can clearly be seen sticking out BOTH sides of the deck with a different back design on each end.

Change the card, but that's not the ending. It's only the beginning.

With Transcode, not only can you change the card, but you can also end the trick by changing the back design of the ENTIRE DECK! Change the card, change the deck, then immediately hand the card out for inspection while you plainly showcase the deck. Website Update

Hey guys,

As you may have noticed there's been a few changes around hre.

Firstly and most obviously the layout has changed! It think this layout is a lot more friendly to the eye and makes the forum more welcoming :) Let me know what you think.

Secondly if you look along the top of the forum you will notice quite a few links.

Firstly i've added the shop which we will hopefully start selling stuff on soon. Currently its totally empty! If you are interested in selling something in the shop then get in touch with me.

I've also added a link to the Live Chat Room which pops out in a nice separate window to the site and hopefully in the near future we can start having weekly sessions and guest hosts.

Contests is also linked at the top because I have bought back the good old Magicians Klub contest. I will create a content hopefully in the next few weeks and there will be PRIZES.

Something I plan to do which I think will be nice is to fill the Calendar with key dates such as famous magicians birthdays, magic events and such.

Anyway that is all for now as you may have heard I've pretty much finished my first year of uni now so i have a good few months of time on my hands. Please help the forum by posting a bit more and coming on more often.

There are a lot of commercial effects out there, most of the time we are disappointed but every once in a while there is something great. To keep all this separate from the creative side of the forum we have made a separate section for discussion about commercial effects.

Feel free to discuss how you think it might be done we all like trying to work things out but please do not specifically go out to tell everybody how it is done. If you want to know how it is done please respect the artist and go buy it.

If you have purchased the effect then feel free to give your honest opinion about the methods but be careful not to reveal any of the secrets behind the effect. Discuss points such as how perform-able it is (angles, setup) etc.

So i've recenty started getting back into magic, i've been out of it for quite a long time which is why I've been a bit inactive but im getting back into it and have sort of a different views on things than I used to.

I think it would be nice to steer this site away from a "reveal" site which I know it isn't but it does show signs of it.

I think it should be more of a community where members share tips and tricks and sleights and awesome ideas that they have come up with etc, which does happen but it would be good to see more of it.

I've thought about maybe closing the site to the public and making it more exclusive, in hope that we can maybe get some famous/great magicians on here.

I've also considered making a membership fee and basically people can "thank" other members for their contributions, and at the end of each month magicians that have contributed a lot (indicated by thanks) would receive a nice amount of money (funded by the fee) which would also maybe attract the big guns ;).

Let me know what you think about this I know its a big change but I think it could really be something that makes this site different, and obviously, our loyal members would get it free or something ;)

Also if I did do this I may use the social network site that I started developing a while back instead of a forum and make it a bit more socially.

I'm back from uni now guys :) Got to go back for exams but thats about it.

Might have a bit more time to spend working on the site now altho I do have a lot of work on :) PLUS I no longer have to deal with a god awful Internet Speed.
